About RSAMDIO

The Rotaract South Asia Multi-District Information Organization is Rotary International's recognized MDIO: a regional group of member districts formed to disseminate information and facilitate communication among Rotaract Clubs and Rotaractors across eight nations in South Asia.

The Rotaract South Asia Multi-District Information Organization (RSAMDIO) serves Rotaract across Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

We disseminate information and facilitate communication among Rotaract clubs, and support leadership learning and multidistrict programs across the region. Today that presence includes 45 districts, 2,850 clubs, and 60,123 Rotaractors across 8 nations.

To disseminate information and facilitate communication among Rotaract clubs across South Asia, and to provide leadership learning and organize multidistrict service projects and programs.

How we are organized

RSAMDIO is led by an elected President, supported by an appointed Executive Board and committees for the term, and collaborates with District Rotaract Representatives to support the Rotaract Clubs and Rotaractors from the Member Districts.

  1. Rotary Year 2010–11

    Foundation of Rotaract South Asia MDIO

    The formation of the Rotaract South Asia MDIO received official certification on Jul 19, 2010 from General Secretary Ed Futa, acting on behalf of the Rotary International Board. The initial founding districts comprised Districts 3080, 3150, 3160, 3190, 3260, and 3291.

  2. 2011–2020

    A decade of multi-district continuity

    Successive Rotary Years deepened information sharing and communication across member districts, with the College of Presidents preserving institutional memory year after year.

  3. Rotary Year 2026–27

    Presence across South Asia today

    Today RSAMDIO brings together member districts across 8 nations, 45 districts, 2,850 clubs, and 60,123 Rotaractors, guided by the Executive Board under an elected President for Rotary Year 2026–27.
